Compliance update: Uniform Guidance changes, hot topics and industry trends

A year in tax: what we’ve seen
In this technical session, we’ll discuss some recent tax trends and topics we’ve seen come up over the last year. Walk through the latest unrelated business income (UBI) updates, including some clarity on UBI activity grouping and net operating loss (NOL) ordering rules. Learn more about state and local tax issues related to single member LLCs owned by not-for-profit organizations and navigating state solicitation registrations and audit/review requirements. Receive an overview on the excise tax on executive compensation and practical considerations around computing the tax due and IRS activity in this area.
